Ned Thomas is a Director of Mercator International. In a varied career as writer and journalist, academic and publisher, he has worked in London, Paris, Salamanca, Moscow, Cardiff and Aberystwyth, where he now lives. He is known as the author of The Welsh Extremist (Y Lolfa, 1971), and more recently, Bydoedd: Cofiant Cyfnod (Worlds), which won the 2011 Welsh Book of the Year award.
