Simon Brooks visited Slovenia for two weeks in April and whilst there participated in the Slovene Book Days events, organised by the Slovene Writers' Association, where he discussed his recent book Pam na fu Cymru (Why Wales never happened).

Simon Brooks' visit was organised by the Slovene Writers' Association and Literature Across Frontieres as part of the Literary Europe Live project, and is supported by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.

Simon's book, Pam na fu Cymru, has been shortlisted for the Wales Book of the Year Award 2016, and is published by University of Wales Press.
