Workshops

The Exchange regularly leads and organises translation workshops. Our archive will gradually be posted over the coming months.

Many of our workshops are held at Tŷ Newydd, the National Writers' Centre for Wales and our partner in Translators' House Wales. Tŷ Newydd is a historic house located in a particularly beautiful setting, in the Snowdonia National Park, walking distance from the sea and a short distance away from the small seaside town of Cricieth.

We also host workshops at home in Aberystwyth, a small University seaside town. The National Library of Wales is here, as are the Welsh Books Council and the award-winning Aberystwyth Arts Centre. A number of independent publishers are based in the area and a few independent bookshops can still be found in the town. Ultracomida is a favourite venue for our events.
