Anamika lives in New Delhi and is a Hindi poet. She teaches English-language literature at Delhi University. Her seventeen volumes of poetry, short storeis and essays have earned her a number of awards. She was invited to participate in the Writers' Chain project in 2011 and collaborated with poets from across the Indian sub-continent and Welsh poets in creative translation workshops organised by Wales Literature Exchange in Wales and India. Her work can be read in Welsh translation in a special supplement published in August 2013 by Wales Literature Exchange in collaboration with the literary review, Taliesin.
