Caryl Bryn Hughes, from Anglesey, is a Welsh poet and writer, and currently works as a Digital Content Producer for Hansh.

She graduated with a BA from Bangor University's School of Welsh in 2017 and graduated with an MA from the same School in 2020.

In October 2018, she took part in Literature Wales’ ‘Her 100 Cerdd’ – an annual event where four Welsh-language poets compose a hundred poems in 24 hours.

She was Poet of the Month for BBC Radio Cymru in April 2019, and in the same year she came third in the Crown competition in the Urdd Eisteddfod.

Her work as been published in Barddas and Y Stamp among other publications.

She won the Poetry category in Wales Book of the Year awards in 2020 with her first volume of poetry, Hwn ydy’r llais, tybad? (‘Is this the voice’?)(Cyhoeddiadau’r Stamp, 2019).
