Samantha Wynne-Rhydderch has published three collections: Rockclimbing in Silk (Seren, 2001), Not in These Shoes (Picador, 2008) which was shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year 2009 and Banjo (Picador, 2012), a poem from which won second prize in the National Poetry Competition 2011. Samantha’s poems have appeared in The Guardian, The Independent, Agenda, Poetry Wales, Poetry London, and the Forward Anthology 2002 and 2009. She has received awards for her work from the Society of Authors (2007) and Literature Wales (1997 and 2002) in addition to a Hawthornden Fellowship (2005). In 2012 Samantha won a Leverhulme writer in residence award to collaborate with the National Wool Museum and the work resulting from this, Lime & Winter was published by Rack Press in 2014. Samantha was appointed poet in residence at the Dylan Thomas Boathouse during June 2014.
