Samantha Wynne-Rhydderch is a poet whose work has been shortlisted for the Michael Marks Award (2014), the Roland Mathias Prize (2013) and Wales Book of the Year (2009). Samantha has taught Creative Writing on the MSt. at Oxford University and on the MA programme at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David where she was awarded a PhD in Creative Writing in 2019.

In 2018 Samantha collaborated with composer and producer Dr. Nina Perry to write and perform in The Milk Way for BBC Radio 3, and in the same year published a Rack Press pamphlet about walking, Ling Di Long which takes its title from the Welsh phrase meaning ‘to dilly dally’.

In 2012 Samantha was Leverhulme writer in residence at the National Wool Museum and in 2014 she held a residency at the Dylan Thomas Boathouse to mark the centenary of the poet's birth. The recipient of a Hawthornden Fellowship, Samantha's poems have been published in Agenda, The Compass Magazine, Granta, the Financial Times, the Independent, Magma, New Welsh Review, Planet, Poetry London and Poetry Wales.

Samantha is currently studying at the Sorbonne and writing her next collection. Her new work is published in Poetry Wales Spring 2021.
