Charles Wallace India Trust Fellowship in Aberystwyth, Wales
Applications are now open for our new CWIT Fellowship for emerging literary translators and creative writers from India, based in Aberystwyth and jointly managed by Literature Across Frontiers and University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
Only Indian citizens domiciled and resident in India are eligible for the three-month residency which will run during the autumn/winter period 2018-19.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to spend three months in Aberystwyth, Wales, working on a literary project of their choice combining translation and writing. While their project will form the focus of their stay with us, we also encourage Fellows to engage in local academic, cultural and social life and to connect with the literary and theatre scene.
The closing date for receipt of applications is midnight GMT of 27th September 2018. No late applications will be accepted. The successful applicant will be notified by 7th October 2018.
