Spanish translation of Intermission by Owen Martell published in Argentina

Intervalo, the Spanish translation by Jorge Fondebrider of Owen Martell’s novel, Intermission, has been published in Argentina by Bajo La Luna.

Set in the vividly recreated world of the contemporary jazz scene, and structured in the movements of a musical composition, Intermission weaves the complex textures of jazz into a subtle but powerful narrative of the process of grieving and, eventually, the acceptance of loss.

The novel was selcted to our bookcase in 2013.  The novel was translated into French by Robert Davreu, and published by Autrement in 2013 and translated into German by Anke Caroline Burger and published by Klaus Wagenbach in 2014.

The translation was supported by a Wales Literature Exchange Translation Grant.
