The Exchange at the London Book Fair 2012

Wales Literature Exchange will be meeting with translators, publishers and agents at the London Book Fair, 16-18th of April. To make an appointment, please contact Sioned Puw Rowlands at sioned@walesliterature.org

The Exchange will have presence at the Welsh Books Council stand (Q635), Literature Across Frontiers collective (Z20) and at the book fair's Literary Translation Centre. Newly established in 2010, the Literary Translation Centre is going from strength to strength and is managed by a group of partner organisations, including Wales Literature Exchange, Arts Council England, British Centre for Literary Translation, British Council, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, English PEN, Freeword, Literature Across Frontiers, The Society of Authors' Translators' Association and Words Without Borders. This year, all the seminars at the Literary Translation Centre are to be filmed and will be available online following the book fair.

The Market Focus China programme has already proved controversial. Please keep an eye on English PEN's website over the coming weeks in the lead up to the fair.
