Aled Ffred Jones is a Welsh politican and a member of Plaid Cymru. He was born in Brynamman and is a brother to Dafydd Iwan. Before his election, he was a director and producer for the television company Ffilmiau'r Nant and prior to that a Welsh teacher, Head of Department and then a journalist for HTV.
