Myrddin ap Dafydd is a Welsh poet, editor and publisher. He was the First Children’s Poet Laurete for Wales in 2000, and he is the Archdruid of Wales since 2019.

Born in Llanrwst and educated at Aberystwyth University, he is the founder of publisher Gwasg Carreg Gwalch. He has won twp National Chairs for his poetry in strict metre.

His latest poetry collection, Pentre Du, Pentre Gwyn (Gwasg Carreg Gwalch, 2019) was shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year award in 2020.
