Born in London and brought up in Taff's Well, Malachy now lives on Anglesey. The author's creative non-fiction memoir, Y Delyn Aur (The Golden Harp) was published by GWasg y Bwthyn in November 2023. In it Malachy confronts his mixed-race, multi-cultural and religious identity while tracing his family history in Ireland and Barbados. He is currently researching the sequel in his creative non-fiction memoir series, Paradwys Goll (Paradise Lost) which will be published in 2025. In addition to writing books, the author is a columnist for Golwg magazine.
