Meleri Davies is a poet and writer living and working in Dyffryn Ogwen. She has published her work in a number of journals and publications and her first collection of poetry Rhuo ei distawrwydd hi | Roaring her silence was published by Cyhoeddiadau'r Stamp (2024). The collection subsequently won the Wales Book of the Year 2025 award for Welsh-language poetry and it has been reprinted 4 times in 9 months. She is passionate about communities, sustainability and creativity. She is now a freelance community development consultant and a creative practitioner. This work includes project management and planning support and leading creative writing workshops.
