Sioned Wyn Roberts is a native of Pwllheli but lives in Cardiff. She worked for the BBC and S4C for many years, specialising in children's programmes - she commissioned a wide variety of output, from Cyw to Stwnsh. She won a Tir na n-Og Award in 2022 for her historical novel for teenage readers, Gwasg y Nos; her second young adult fiction title, Wyneb yn Wyneb, was published in 2023 and her first novel for adults 'Madws' was published in 2024.
