For the sixth year running the Tanpinar Literary Festival in Istanbul is offering bursaries to authors, translators, publishers, journalists and others with a professional interest in literature. The purpose of the programme which will take place between May 9-11, 2016 is to visit Turkish publishers, promote an interest in Turkish literature, and to help develop projects and exchanges. Between 15 and 20 bursaries are awarded annually, and ap[plications need to be in by March 11th. Full particulars can be found here.
