Creative Europe Desk UK in co-operation with Wales Literature Exchange are holding a free information session about Creative Europe's funding opportunities for literature, translation and publishing organisations in Wales.

Catrin Cooke, Culture Manager at Creative Europe Desk UK - Wales, will provide information on the Literary Translation funding opportunity, as well as other opportunities to apply for Creative Europe funding. The next deadline for Creative Europe applications is 5 February 2015.

Representatives from other publishing houses across the UK will be present to talk about their experience of applying for European funding, while Wales Literature Exchange will discuss the context of this work in Wales and beyond.

The event will be held at the Mercator Institute for Media, Languages and Culture Library, Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies, Parry-Williams Building, Aberystwyth University, on Friday, 9 January 2015 from 1:00pm.
