Join us for a special event to celebrate the winner of this year’s Her Gyfieithu!

This year's challenge was to translate two poems by contemporary Polish poet, Julia Fiedorczuk.

Dr Aled Llion Jones, the adjudicator of this year’s competition, will announce the winner and read from his adjudication. The winner will receive a prize of £200 and be presented with the Her Gyfieithu staff, donated by Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru.

The winning translations will be published online by O’r Pedwar Gwynt following the announcement.

The ceremony will take place at the Natinoal Eisteddfod in the University of Wales Trinity Saint David stand at 3 o’clock on Thursday 8th August.

Polish snacks and drinks will be served.
