A Postcard from the Salon du Livre

I took this image of books by Lee Seung-U on the stand of his French publisher, Zulma, at the Salon du Livre, Paris, this morning. Zulma is in fact one of our favourite publishers at the Exchange. The breadth of what they publish is encouraging, as is the care they take over the production quality of each one of their titles. Having read Ici comme ailleurs by Lee Seung-U, I brought home with me the earlier translation, La vie revée des plantes. The Reverse Side of Life is the only title currently available in English translation, with Peter Owen publishers.

A Postcard from Brussels

Siân Melangell Dafydd sends word from the Brussels Book Fair in February 2014. Patrick McGuinness and Siân took part in the UK guest of honour programme.
