2014 Highlights: Translating Wales, Reading the World: Chile and Argentina

In partnership with the Welsh language literary magazine, Taliesin, Wales Literature Exchange is proud to announce the publication of the supplement Cyfieithu Cymru, Darllen y Byd: Chile ac Ariannin (Translating Wales, Reading the World: Chile and Argentina) available with the latest issue.

This is the second supplement that the Exchange has created in partnership with Taliesin. India was published in 2013. The aim of the volume is to provide a taste of recent translation journeys to Argentina and Chile organised by the Exchange, Wales Arts International and the British Council.

The supplement includes Welsh translations by poets Mererid Hopwood and Karen Owen of works by Jorge Aulicino, Jorge Fonderbrider, Owen Tydur Jones, and Veronica Zondek, and contributions by Ned Thomas and Owen Martell.
