Creative Europe Desk UK in co-operation with Wales Literature Exchange will hold an information session for literature, translation and publishing organisations in Wales on Friday, 9 January 2015. The aim of the event held at the Mercator Institute Library, Parry Williams Building (Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies), Aberystwyth University, from 1:00pm, is to provide information on Creative Europe's funding opportunities.

Catrin Cooke, Culture Manager at Creative Europe Desk UK - Wales, will provide information on the Literary Translation funding opportunities, as well as other opportunities to apply for Creative Europe funding. Representatives from publishing houses across the UK will be present to talk about their experience of applying for European funding, while Sioned Puw Rowlands, Director of Wales Literature Exchange will discuss the context of this work in Wales and beyond.
