Readings and conversations will be chaired by Granta magazine deputy editor Ellah Allfrey, while Granta contributor Cynan Jones and celebrated author Owen Martell explore the Welsh landscape, identity in the British Isles, masculinity and hunting for badgers. This event is part of a UK-wide series of events that marks the launch of the latest issue of Granta magazine and explore the stories Britain is telling about itself today. Cynan Jones will go on to the Paraty festival, Brazil in July with Granta, at the invitation of the British Council where he will discuss with Brazilian writer, João Paulo Cuenca the local versus the universal in literature.
