Award-winning Welsh author Niall Griffiths attended the Tbilisi International Festival of Literature on June 6th, 2023 to give a talk alongside Georgian writer and screenwriter Archil Kikodze on his novel Stump, which was translated into Georgian in 2019.

He also participated in a panel discussion at TIFL, titled "Time in Storytelling. Stories from the Past and Stories about the Future" with Austrian writer Daniel Wisser and Grace Henes from the USA.

In February 2023, Niall also attended the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters and participated in a panel discussion on Fiction and Contemporary Politics, and gave talks to students at four universities and colleges in Delhi and Kerala together with fellow Welsh author Megan Angharad Hunter.
