New call for Translators' House Wales/HALMA scholarship

New call for Translators' House Wales/HALMA scholarship

24 July 2012

Writers from across Wales are invited to apply for the third Translators’ House Wales / HALMA scholarship. The scholarship will offer a two-centre residency - a month each to be spent in HALMA partner centres in Finland and Slovenia during 2012/13.

The scholarship stems from Translators’ House Wales/Tŷ Cyfieithu Cymru’s membership of HALMA, a network which connects and co-ordinates 27 literature and translation centres across Europe.

For a conversation to find out more about the residencies and the host houses, please contact Sally Baker at sally@tynewydd.org

Writers should send their CV and a letter explaining why they would benefit from this residency opportunity and when they would be available to travel, to Sioned Puw Rowlands at sioned@walesliterature.org by midnight on the 18th of July, 2012.

Translators' House Wales's membership of HALMA is made possible through the support of Wales Arts International and Literature Across Frontiers.
