In accordance with the current official guidelines, WLE’s office is closed and we are conducting our work online. We will post any updates relating to our projects on our website.

WLE’S activities

Following the measures to reduce the spread of the epidemic, including postponement and cancellation of key events, we are reviewing parts of our work programme and will bring updates as soon as possible here and on our social media.

Translation Grants Fund (Notice for recipients of translation grants)

Our Translation Grants Fund will continue to operate as usual and are now accepting applications for our next round in December.

For publishers who have been awarded a translation grant, we ask that you send us copies of the book upon publication as agreed. Once we have received the books, we will then be able to process the payment of your grant. Please remember to send these to our new address.
