Leo Drayton is a queer Welsh-language writer and performer who uses his experiences and identity as a trans man in his work. Working alongside Iestyn Tyne, he was one of the young collaborating authors of Y Pump, the series that won Wales Book of the Year in 2022 in both the Children & Young People and People's Choice categories and has since been published in English as The Five by Firefly Press. Dynolwaith, which he wrote and performed for Frân Wen under the direction of Gethin Evans, is his first published script.
