Published exactly five years after its debut at Cardiff’s Sherman Theatre, this visceral piece of theatre introduced the exceptional talent of Elgan Rhys to enthralled audiences.

Woof depicts the life of two gay men on the cusp of their thirties as they fall in love and – as they navigate relationships that differ from the straight norm – slowly realise that they want different things. Elgan Rhys’ no holds barred portrayal captures the mounting tension between Daf and Jesse in a play that walks the line between humour, tenderness and violence.
