Dafydd Apolloni is of Italian origin and has spent years living inboth Paris and Rome. He lives in Llanrwst and works in the linguistic field, undertaking research, translation and language learning for adults. In 2004 his volume Roma, Hen Wlad Fy Nhad (Roma, My Father's Old Country), was published, which discussed his experience of Rome and Italian life, and a number of his short stories have appeared in Tu Chwith and Taliesin.
